Lateral 81 Rehabilitation - South Cluny Pipeline, Phase 1
The goal of this project is to replace 50 kilometers of open canal with 35 kilometers of buried PVC pipe. The South Cluny Pipeline begins north of Gleichen in SE 36-22-23 and ends northeast of Cluny in NW 29-22-20. Construction will be completed in two phases. Phase 1 began in September 2008 and is scheduled to be completed in April 2009. Phase 2 construction will begin in September 2009 and is expected to be completed in April 2010. The estimated cost for this project is $15 million.
