Water Hauling Permits

To receive a water hauling permit, please come into the office to fill out the permit and make payment.  You will be required to know the following information:

​

     a) legal land description and/or where you will be obtaining water from

     b) legal land description and/or address to where the water will be going to

     c) what purpose the water will be used for

     d) vehicle make, model and license #

​

These applications are available at the WID office.  Office hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Personal

 

This allows people to pump water from our canals into holding tanks and haul it for the purpose of watering yards and gardens.  If a person wishes to purchase a permit they will need to come to our office to fill out the required permit and submit payment at the same time.  The water user must keep a copy of the permit with them at all times to prove they have purchased a valid permit.  A copy of the permit is also supplied to the Water District Supervisor.

 

The 2023 rate is $240.00 plus GST.

Commercial

 

This allows people to pump water from our canals and haul for the use of dust control, weed spraying, and drilling of water wells.  The water user needs to contact the office for the proper paperwork.

 

The 2023 rate is $990.00 plus GST.
