Water Delivery Policy

 

  • Water users are required to contact their Water District Supervisor at least 48 hours prior to commencing irrigation. The Water District Supervisor will attempt to deliver water as soon as possible and will inform the user when water will be available.

 

  • Water users are required to provide 24 hours notice to their Water District Supervisor when water is no longer required. In the case of equipment failure, users must immediately notify their Water District Supervisor.

 

  • A water user who fails to order water before use, or who is found to have adjusted the District's works to the detriment of the system may be subject to the penalties as follows:

    • 1st Offence: The Water District Supervisor will review this policy with the offending user; user to acknowledge policy review by signature.

    • 2nd Offence: The Water District Supervisor and Operations Manager will inform the offending user of a suspension of service for 5 days; user to acknowledge suspension by signature.
