  • WID reservoir levels are at or slightly above the seasonal average for early April.
  • Bow River headgates will be de-iced and prepared for regular operations from April 17th to 22nd.
  • The district plans to commence Bow River diversion during the week of April 22 to begin filling Chestermere Reservoir to operational level by May 1st.
  • Current water in Storage:   Langdon – 12,000 acre/ft                          Chestermere – 800 acre/ft (usable)
  • Current elevation:                  Langdon 1005.985 m (FSL 1006.0m)     Chestermere – 1023.95 m (FSL 1025.65m)
  • Total Capacity:                        Langdon 12,000 acre/ft at FSL                Chestermere 8,100 acre/ft at FSL
